Selena Gomez, an actress and singer who is well-known internationally. Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place, one of the biggest projects in which she participated and has achieved the most popularity, is her work. The full name of Selena Marie Gomez is Selena Marie Gomez. Selena Marie Gomez was born in the city of Grand Prairie in Texas on July 22nd the 22nd of July, 1992. Her parents include Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. Selena's mother was just 16 when Selena was born. The year 2009 was when she landed her first role in the show industry as Gianna as Barney and her Friends. The role was to be one of the children who got to play with the world's most famous reptile, the purple anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena was a part of many episodes of seasons 7 and 8 from 2001 - 2003. Selena was not the only actor to appear on Barney and His Friends during that time. Demi Loveto also worked with the show. After leaving the series Selena Gomez auditioned for several roles in other programs as well as films, but wasn't very successful. In 2003, she played a minor role in Mini Spies 3: (Spy Kids 3D Game Over) as well as in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire in the role of Julie. She also was given the part as Emily Grace Garcia in the 2007 Brain Zapped program for which she wrote a song.
