Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 (February 27, 2010) Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a small community that is located on the West Island, which is an island in Montreal. The West Island, to those not familiar with it, is a large area that extends from Lachine all the way west. Amanda Brugel was born there and her time in the city wasn't long. Brugel was raised in Courtice near Oshawa Ontario. She wanted to become a professional dancer, but due to an explosive increase in her height, she outgrew the dance partners she had. In an article published by Toronto Star, she revealed that in heels she was 6 feet 1 inch tall. After I became too big for my male friends, I quit. Brugel was one of many former dancers who shifted into acting. Her high school teacher school encouraged her into the right direction. Teacher who recommended she try getting a part in the school's annual play. She auditioned and eventually got the lead in Anne of Green Gables. This led to her being awarded the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship from York University. In 2000 she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts at York University. For the last twenty years, Brugel's work been seen on the large and small screen. The most notable was her recognition when she landed her role as Rita in the award-winning television series The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was the sole Canadian actress in Season 1 which was viewed only on occasion.

Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress best recognized for her appearances on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003 she has demonstrated her versatility in acting by giving outstanding performances in television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. Anna's role in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first big break. It was however her portrayal of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer from the biography film All the Way, which gave her the respect she was due as an actor. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the series will continue for an additional season.
